Your Shopper ID
Not sure what's going on with your bag? Call us at 732.902.5400 and give a customer service representative your shopper ID. A Shopper ID is a unique ID that identifies what is in your shopping bag. We would be happy to help you complete your transaction. Customer Service support will be in English.
What currencies do you support?
Currently, Borderfree supports billing in over 60 global currencies, with more being added on an ongoing basis. Click here
to view and select from a list of our supported currencies. Once you confirm your preferences, you will be able to see products priced in your selected currency.
How much tax will I be charged on my order?
Duties are set by the destination country customs authorities, based on the following:
1. The country of origin (manufacturing) of the goods being purchased.
2. The classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the countries that Borderfree supports.
3. International taxes (such as Value Added Tax, or VAT) are set by the destination country.
You will be able to view the guaranteed total amount of applicable duty and tax/VAT for your order within the Borderfree international checkout.
What will show up on my credit card statement?
Your credit card will be billed by Borderfree and your credit card statement will read "BF*Bare Necessities" where "BF" denotes the Borderfree network.

What exchange rate is applied to my orders?
The daily exchange rates are applied to your orders. The rate charged to you is a guaranteed amount - this will not change once you confirm and place an order. To know the exact price before you buy, simply add items to your order and begin check out. You will see the exact price for your order in your selected currency before you actually place the order.
We offer real-time inventory. You can check if any item is available on each product page by selecting the size and color you need. If the color/size combination is no longer available, a message will show up in red
stating "This color/size combination is no longer available
When can I use Afterpay?
We accept Afterpay on U.S. orders that are between $1 - $2000.
Afterpay cannot be used to purchase gift certificates or backordered items,
or to place orders requiring gift receipts. Afterpay cannot be combined with the
redemption of gift certificates, vouchers or store credit.
When can I use Apple Pay?
We accept Apple Pay on compatible devices on U.S. orders.
Apple Pay cannot be used to purchase gift certificates, to place orders requiring gift receipts or to place orders shipped to APO/FPO addresses.
Orders purchased using Apple Pay cannot redeem gift certificates, vouchers or store credit.
When can I use Visa Checkout?
We accept Visa Checkout for U.S. orders. Visa Checkout accounts can use any major credit or debit card to pay for a purchase.
What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard for all currencies and countries, American Express and
online for most countries. We do not accept mail in orders for international orders.
Is it safe to use my credit card?
Yes, shopping at Bare Necessities is safe. Our secure server software encrypts information,
ensuring that Internet transactions stay private and protected. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
technology, considered the gold standard in Internet encryption technology, to protect the security
of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us.
Is gift wrapping available?
We take great pride in our packaging - each order is carefully wrapped in
delicate tissue and placed inside an unmarked shipping box or shipping
envelope. At this time we do not offer gift wrapping services or gift invoices for international customers.
Where can I enter a coupon or promotional code?

please enter the code on the "bag" page of our checkout process. If you
place your order over the phone, please inform the customer service representative that
you have a code. Only one coupon code may be used per order.
How do you ship internationally?
Bare Necessities fulfills international orders through our partner, Borderfree. We partner with Borderfree so our customers can receive their orders as quickly as possible. During "Checkout" you will see your total price including all duties, taxes, shipping and handling charges in your local or selected currency before you place your order. You will pay Borderfree the total amount for your order in your local or selected currency.

Are there any items that cannot ship to my country because they are restricted?
Yes, there are some items on our website that are restricted. If for some reason there are any items that cannot be exported from the United States or imported into your destination country selection, Borderfree will notify you during the checkout process.
How much does international shipping cost?
International shipping is calculated based on a number of factors including the desired shipping speed, the number of items you are purchasing, the weight of the items, and the destination country. International shipping will be calculated and guaranteed during the Borderfree international checkout based on the items you are purchasing and your shipping destination.
When will my order be shipped?
You will be quoted a specific delivery timeframe at the time of checkout that is based on your selected destination country and the shipping methods available for the items in your shopping bag.
When your package clears our international facility and is on its way to you, you will receive an shipment confirmation email with your tracking number and link to track your order. If you know your order number click here to track your package(s)
What is Bare Necessities' return policy for international orders?
We want you to love your purchase! If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase please review the following steps. We do not offer exchanges on international orders, only returns. The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. You will be credited for the returned items and taxes. Initial shipping charges are non-refundable. Returns are not accepted on final sale items. Due to policy changes with our international shipping partner we are no longer able to refund international customers whose returns are received 180 days or more after the order date.

, indicating your Bare Necessities order number, a
description of the item you wish to return and the reason for return.
2. Once an RMA is submitted on your behalf you will receive a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION email from Borderfree where we will provide you with further instructions on where returns should be shipped and the amount you will be refunded.
3. Follow the DHL return instructions on the RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION email from Borderfree. The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
4. Once your merchandise is received at the Bordefree returns facility and is verified, we will process your credit within 5-10 business days. You will receive a RETURN PROCESSED email at that time.
Please note that it may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly statement. Your statement will show a credit from BF*BareNecessities. Some statements may also show the city name of the Borderfree billing exchange office for your region.
I want to exchange for Instant Credit. How does that work?
In our Online Returns & Exchanges process
, you may elect to receive your refund as an Instant Credit Voucher that you can use immediately to place your exchange order.
Instant Credit Vouchers are valid for a limited time. Any unused balance on an Instant Credit Voucher will be issued as a refund in accordance with our standard refund policy when our returns center receives your merchandise.
Instant Credit may be offered as a refund option on U.S. orders of $500 or less. Only one Instant Credit Voucher can be created per order. If the order was purchased using an Instant Credit Voucher, subsequent exchanges or returns will not be offered as an Instant Credit Voucher. In using an Instant Credit Voucher as payment, you are waiving your right to receive that amount of your refund back to your original payment method. Bare Necessities may, at its sole discretion, deny Instant Credit as a refund option to a customer.
