  • Beautiful bra!
  • I love the color and feel of this bra! The only issue I have is that the cup size is just a little large on me, though it’s not uncomfortable! Very nice for lounging and casual wear!

  • An underwire bra that works with fibromyalgia
  • I would never have thought that a longline bra would make wearing an underwire more comfortable, but this bra has been a revelation. Before I developed fibromyalgia, underwires were my bra of choice, since I wear anywhere from a DD to and F cup, and they gave my back support and felt incredibly comfortable, but as the years have gone by underwires became more and more painful, since they tend to fall right at the trigger points around my rib cage (areas that are super sensitive to nerve pain which happen to be right where the pointed ends of most underwires seem to hit me) and so I relied on the more structured wire free minimizers and even stretchy wire free bras, only wearing underwires when I really needed the extra lift. But as I've gotten older, my body shape has changed and my petite frame and large chest have required more support. This coincided with my going from a 34 to 32 band, which really narrowed my choices, since very few bras come in a 32 b and most of them don't go past a C or D cup. The more structured wireless bras that I used to rely on started at a 34 and a loose band, while more comfortable around my now sensitive rib cage, meant they no longer provided the support I needed, so it was back to underwires unless, since I thankfully work from home, I was alone at my computer and could get away with a comfortable Coobie or Bali Comfort Revolution. It took me over two years to find an underwire bra that I could wear for more than a few hours. Bare Necessities has been great with returns. This bra is really comfortable, and in the lipstick and bright pink colors, very sexy too. I initially purchased this bra in several sizes since Freya bras seem to be very inconsistent in sizing and I'm hard to fit anyway (I'm between a USA size DD/E and an F, so I really need a half-sized bra (and Third Love doesn't make half sizes for a 32E) . I determined that the 32DD in this particular bra was right for me since this style runs a tad large in the cup (I've had other Freya bras in a 32E and even a 32F (US 32F and 32G) and I wear a 32F in Chantelle). The bras arrived the day before we had a nearly 3 hour drive each way to a funeral, so I was taking a big chance wearing one for so many hours, but it had washed and dried quickly hanging it up the night before (I really like how light the Freya bras tend to be both for comfort and how quickly they air dry). The underwires didn't start to bother me until about 9 hours into the day, shortly before our return trip, and even then while it was uncomfortable, it was tolerable for the long ride home. These bras feel so light but give me great support. Unlike another reviewer here who was disappointed, I was glad the lace didn't have any shaping effect on my torso since it is not a bustier, and the lace is loose and comfortable, which is actually what I wanted. I still don't know why the added thickness of a longline band, which I would expect to be less comfortable since there's more area that's tight up against my ribs, instead actually makes wearing an underwire much more comfortable, but it does. I had googled "best bra for fibromyalgia" and read that longline bras were better, so I took a chance and found this bra. I wish they made one in a T-shirt bra. If you hate underwires but need the support, I'd recommend this style. These are my go-to bras when I leave home (and when my husband comes home too - they are really beautiful).

  • New favorite bra
  • I was really sad to see my old favorite bra, the Chantelle C Chic Sexy Plunge bra get discontinued. I've tried a few others, including other Chantelle bras since then, but this Freya bra is my new favorite. I don't like padded and/or thick bras. I tend to prefer plunging bras because I think the full coverage looks matronly on me. And what I've also come to find is key: side support. This bra has it in spades and lifts/shapes my breasts exactly right. Super cute and comfy too.

  • Favorite nursing bra! But runs big!
  • I love freya in general and this nursing bra is no exception. It fits SO WELL! And is so comfortable. It’s also a very pretty shade of pink (which is nice since most larger sized nursing bras are very basic and boring). However, I always wear 30FF in freya and for this i sized down to 30E. Again, for is GREAT JUST SIZE SIWN : )
