Spanx are only good for people who do not need it.
Pro:
*smooths thighs
Con:
*Thick fabric retains sweat and stretches when wet. Very hot to wear in summer.
*Waistband visible over clothing.
*Overall compression negates any curves you want to keep. Creates cylindrical shape.
*3" too long for my 5'4" frame. And I have a long torso for my height.
There are better brands of shapewear out there. Try Body Wrap brand.

Product as advertised. Good quality and does what is promised
Fits well and controls evenly. Very comfortable to wear. I purchased in the winter. Perfect for that time of the year. However; I am not sure how it will wear in the summer. I live in sn area wher the hot summer climate can be fierce and am anxious to see how it feels to wear them in the hot weather.

Not for the petite
I don't recommend this for petite people. The top of the waist band hits my ribs. Clearly Spanx is designing for taller people. I have other products of theirs (bra is nice, slips ride up and the I wind up with a scrunched up look underneath clothing bc of the long waist length). I found this very uncomfortable to wear. I did like the leg part, but not the waist area. I'm already thin, but this was a bit ridiculous how it hit me in the upper body area. When they say Higher Power, they really mean higher power. I gave it a good rating for tall people. I wanted to give it a lower rating for smaller people.

high wasted!
Spanx has fallen from grace with me! The fabric rolls, is hot and just does not stay where you want it to. There are other shapeware products that are more comfortable and more effective.

Spanx long/high waisted pantie
Sorry. I love Spanx but the ones that come up really high like this one should not be recommend for petite women. Due to the lack of room for short-waist gals--it rolls over and you are constantly trying to unroll. You end up with a big bagel around your waist. Or at least I did. The concept is fantastic and may work. But the purpose if for heavier set gals and if you have much fat at all between bust and waist, get set for it to roll.
