It's Padded--imo
I can't image wearing this bra in the summer. If you throw in a hot flash, you would probably will melt or at least, perspire all over your top. Second, the bra is marketed a plus size. From a dimension stand point it is a plus size, however, the band width is out of proportion to the cup size. I found it extremely odd.
While I am certainly no expert in padded bra, this is padded, all be it thinly padded. The padding reminds me of the thin foam rubber used in a child's halloween costume in attempt to add dimension to "super hero" muscles.
I am sending it back asap!

I love this bra!!
This bra is very comfortable. The fit is great and it has the support I need.
