Answer:
I have tried two different sizes in this bra, and I found that in the G and under range, the band seems to run large, and in the GG+ range, the band seems to run true to size.

Answer:
Yes. The band is always your ribcage measurement under your bust. If you measure an odd number, try both sizes around it (but adjust the cup accordingly). My measurement is 31.5 and I fit consistently in a 32. I'm also a 32G in US brands, but lately fitting best in a 32FF in UK brands like Panache. It's the cup sizing that gets all wonky between manufacturers.

Answer:
For all bras the best way to measure band size is to measure across the bottom of your band, directly under the bust and across your ribcage. Make sure to keep your measuring tape straight around the back to front. If you get an odd number, round up to the next even number to get your band size.
Thank you!

Panache Tango Balconette Bra 4.1 5 63 63
Good bra Good for large breasted women who find it hard too find a bra that fits. Wires dig in towards the end of the day, but I also have a small rib cage. May 2, 2013
Great support/shape, but uncomfortable This bra gives impressive support/shape, so I wear it when I want to look my best. However, as soon as I get home, I take it off because it is so uncomfortable. The underwire/side supports dig into my breasts/sides, probably because they are too wide (~4 inches) for my petite frame. Unfortunately, althougth the Panache bras are very pretty and well made, I do not recommend them to women who are petite and/or have a short torso because the side support is too wide for smaller frames. Wonderful and comfortable Frilly and girly delicate patterns initially seem to not be for large cups. However, its extremely deceiving. the design and cut are really supportive and insure almost no bounce. The fabric is comfortable on the skin and even nice for sleeping. As long as you hand wash it in sulfate free soap you will have product longevity. I was first professionally fitted for this bra five months ago and loved this model and its owned now in all colors available. :) Of course, the price paid else where was substantially more , but this including the customer service too.Bare necessities offers a great price . So Nice to Wear for Everyday Very comfortable, good fit, and straps are comfy too. Very sensible bra for everyday wear. April 14, 2013
My favorite new bra Just got fitted and realized my true size. I am replacing my entire bra wardrobe and this bra is my first choice. Its comfortable, makes me look good and is reasonably priced. This was a difficult transition but finding Bare Necessities and this new bra has made it stress free. April 11, 2013
