it has the right amount compression. It does a great job for me for my post my leg surgery.

Good but expected more
When it comes to a "smoothing" product, you expect a lil thickness. Kinda hard to smooth without a lil compression. Not the case here. These are pretty thin, wouldn't suggest to wear alone if not wearing a dress/tunic that goes over your butt!
In saying that, it does smooth like it says, just not panty lines. In the end, I would buy again. I wear them under all my leggings!

These are sooo comfy, yet slenderizing. They are great for wearing under things. No more slips!
