Lesson learned. I thought if the description did not include the word "thong", the item was not a thong. This was. I had never bought one, feeling the very idea was uncomfortable, but I decided not to be such a baby and give it a try. Big mistake; now I can't return it. I washed it of course, but now can't decide what to do with it. I suppose it's possible a thong could be comfortable, but since the part that goes in your private regions is lacey, it scratched with my every move. It wasn't long before I couldn't stand it anymore and went the rest of the day without underwear. I've now learned to carefully look at every view of an item I've intended to buy, because if I had, I would have seen this was a thong. Always look at the back view!
