amazing quality
I am 5'7, about 130 pounds, and wear a size 30FF bra (my usual brands are Panache and Fantasie). I recently had a baby, and while I'm back to my "pre baby" weight, things just aren't the same, if you know what I mean... I wanted a bathing suit that would make me feel attractive but that would also help hide those trouble spots- particularly the tummy and hip area. I also needed good support in the bust. I tried several fantasie and panache suits, but was disappointed. This suit, while it doesn't come in my size *technically* is adjustable enough to work. I purchased a tier 6, which was close enough (it says it fits a 32F, which is the right cup volume, but the wrong band size). When I tie it I do have some trouble because it's not meant to be tied so tight and the material is very thick where I need to tie it, but if you are larger than a 30 in band size, you should have no trouble at all. The straps can be adjusted both in length and in location. You can wear them like traditional bra straps or criss cross for added support. The material is very thick. The body of the tankini is long. It comes to my hips and it stays there- no creep up! The whole body is lined well so it hides tummy pudge and hip pudge and what not. I paired it with the skirted bottom and it creates the illusion of a one piece. It looks a little like a retro swim dress when it's all together. I've only owned it a short time, so I can't speak to how well it will hold up, but it seems top notch- far superior in fit and fabric to everything else I've tried. My only wish was that I could find this exact suit with a bra clasp (in my size, of course) rather than a tie, because I do worry about the tie coming undone (my baby girl loves to grab and pull at the ties). I also wish it wasn't so expensive, but in all truth it's the first time I've felt good in a swim suit, and that's saying a lot.
