Hides a lot
I'm a size 14 that wears between a 34H and a 36FF. I got the 36 and might need to go down in band size. I will warn you, the suit is very chesty! The plunge shows a bit of my ribcage under the round of the bottom of my boobs, but I'm okay with that. There isn't a lot of support, due to the deep cut on the suit, so I will be relying on my straps a lot to keep things up. I'm hoping that by exchanging to a 34 band, this will help a bit. I bought the skirted bottoms to go with it and they provide cute coverage, but I don't feel like an old lady. The texture of the suit hides a lot of stuff for us bigger ladies, so that alone makes it a good choice!

Good for mixed sizes
This is my first tankini and my first bra-sized swimsuit. It's also the first swimwear I've been happy about wearing in public since I was out of high school. The bra cups fit great, the band goes all the way around, and the straps are adjustable -- it's like a double-layer tank top made of swimsuit fabric attached to a quick-drying mesh bra that goes all the way around and hooks in the back, just like a normal bra. It's very supportive and very comfortable. My only complaint is that the seams over the bustline seem to rumple, as if the swimsuit layers were cut to go over a bra layer that was two cup sizes larger. I would've preferred classic, tank-style swimwear suitable for everything (including diving), but getting those supportive enough in the bust, large enough in the hip, long enough in the torso, and short enough in the straps isn't easy. This tankini is a workable solution for me.
